The Courage to Begin and Continue
Let your first poem be full of mistakes, your first video feel cringe, your first painting be imperfect, and your first conversation with a stranger feel awkward or silly. That’s okay.
Let the world criticize you, ridicule you, even discourage you — let them. But don’t stop. Keep going. Because perfection doesn’t come at the beginning; it comes with time and practice, and it always follows consistency.
Quitting your passion or hobby because of people — no matter how close they are — is like sabotaging yourself. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes or appear imperfect, because perfection comes only after travelling miles of imperfection.
Remember every Master was once a Beginner.
