The World is Ending
The flowing water from my kitchen tap is drying,
Since you left my home.
But why it feels
My home has left me ?
Can you tell me, please
Are you in grief
Or now, do you feel free ?
The kitchen and the
couch
The sky and the leaves
Turn to crimson hue,
It's been three days and
My shirt still smells of
you .
My conscience fights the
dilemma…
Is it better to wash the
shirt or
Should I preserve your unseen touch ?
My dried hands reminisce
your alluring aura,
But
Your wrath, your bronze
bracelet I never admired.
This scar on my arm
brings wretched memory,
Should I embrace the
pain or cherish its slow recovery ?
For ages you build
inside my heart
Castles tall,
In a rhythm of time, why
demolished them all ?
'Somebody you love hurts
you beyond calculations…'
Someone said and
brutally proved,
My heart stands still, yet is intensely moved.
I'm lost in thoughts of
cosmos and you.
I'm silent and the Radio
talks.
Yes I live in the era of
40s too…
A cursed day today,
They cautioned !
Rain pours in startling
uniformity
On mountains and land,
In Illinois and Assam.
But they failed to
mention
The pouring tears on my
palm.
The mountains maybe
murmuring,
Astrologers stunned,
Forests, a little more
bend.
Hold your breath !
It's a sign.
The World is about to End !
There you are, driving
through the muddy water on highway,
For our last meet,
The clouds, the birds and rivers together pray.
You like to reread the
old books,
But I've torn the flimsy
pages that mentioned us.
Will the universe punish
me ?
Or will it adjust ?
You knock the door that
was always open,
You cry, stumble twice.
My scar pains you,
But you gave the same
pain and now
You wish to heal it
again …
I'm cruel at times, I
changed my way.
Have 11.5 Reasons, Why I
No More Love Clay,
the same way…
But I see the strain on
your forehead,
Your watery eyes.
I hear the stammer in
your words when
You sing for me :
"I hope you know,
the world is ending,
Jupiter is no more
lovable,
And Earth, no more
green.
The Sky sobs on shedding
blue,
Maybe it's the last
hour,
I hope you know,
I wish to spend it with
you… "
You're still singing,
pain in your words…
Soon, My home would
collapse,
Collapsing the Theorem
of Pythagoras.
For the last time, you
hold my hands,
And we cried in chorus…
Your Bronze Bracelet
falls out of your wrist,
As if it was The Signal.
The flood water enters
the room,
Building collapses,
Breaks bird's feather.
Two sobbing poles of
cosmos
This time
Drowned Together…
